....."Communication is what I feel is at the heart of all artistic endeavors.  Communication between the artist and the viewer, the musician and listener, dancer and observer, any sacred pair of creator and receiver.  Sometimes the voice of the artist is spoken out into the unknown, the void, hoping for an answer.  Sometimes the artist must create to communicate with them self, and none other need hear at all.  There is the communication between the divine, the eternal, and the artist; that quality where the artist feels themselves very much a channel, and hardly responsible for the art at all.  But in whatever instance or form it takes, I believe there is a communion taking place when an artist creates; a listening, an inspiration, a conversation with forces unknown and a conversation with the world.

I hope very much with Communication Art Gallery to give opportunity to expand this dialogue between artist and audience.  If I see art as basically communication, then this gallery is the voice box, or podium, or stereo, by which the message can be transmitted, witnessed and appreciated.  If, by the existence of this gallery, more people are touched, moved and introduced to some of the infinite voices, experiences and perspectives in this world, then the gallery is a success, in other words, communication has been established."
